The Franz-Michael-Felder-Verein was founded in 1969 with the aim of increasing the appreciation of literature in society and communicating the importance of literature. Its tasks are wide-ranging: they range from supporting the Franz Michael Felder Archive of the Vorarlberg Provincial Library to encouraging academic work and editions on Vorarlberg’s literary history, promoting young writers, and cultivating the work of authors, above all that of Franz Michael Felder. The Franz-Michael-Felder-Verein organizes and supports readings, lectures and conferences on literary topics.
